WHAT ARE TRAITS?Traits are essentially items that can be permanently applied to your Felvarg to give it some sort of game bonus. The bonus itself varies trait by trait, but may effect anything from activities (finding rarer loot for instance) to breeding (more likely to pass a genetic mutation). Things to note?
Traits are hereditary and can indeed pass to offspring.
Traits are sub categorized based on rarity.
There is no limit to how many common and uncommon traits you can apply to a single Felvarg.
There is a limit on how many rare/legendary traits you can apply to a single Felvarg. Each Felvarg can have 6 rare traits applied and 5 Legendary traits applied at most. Choose wisely.
The same trait cannot be applied to the same Felvarg.
Traits cannot be removed from a Felvarg once applied as they are permanent.
Traits stack with other tack and companions that the group offers.

Trait: Persuasion *Your cunning tongue makes all items found while Tracking, Fishing or Adventuring worth 10% more than their initial value.
Trait: Flayer *Your brutality provides a chance to roll 1 additional hide in any Tracking roll.
Trait: Blessing of the High Queen *You have gained Freyja's favor, providing a +5% chance to return more valuable items while Adventuring.
Trait: Hawk Eye *Your keen senses increase your ability to find more valuable items while fishing by 5%.
Trait: Overachiever *
Allows the Felvarg to locate special titles in any activity.
Trait: Big Game Hunter *
Increase the sell back price of items found during tracking large prey by 5%.
Trait: Small Game Hunter *
Increase the sell back price of items found during tracking small prey by 5%.
Trait: Explorer *Provides a small chance to return an additional adventure item while participating in other activities.

Being so in touch with the world around you increases your chance to return with companion animals.
Trait: Lone Wolf *
Increases your chance of obtaining more valuable items by 5% when pictured alone in activities.
Trait: Strength of Bjorn *
Bjorn's blood flows through your veins, increasing your chance of obtaining more valuable items when hunting large prey by 5%.
Trait: King of the Hill *Your skill while traveling the winding mountains increases your ability to find more valuable items while mountaineering by 5%.
Trait: Assassin *
Provides an additional +3EXP gain when featured in any beast hunting entries that depict the Felvarg attacking the threat.
Trait: Peace Keeper *
Provides an additional +3EXP gain when featured in any beast hunting entries that depict the Felvarg reasoning with the threat.
Trait: Iron Fist *
Your thrill for the kill increases the chance you will succeed in any player vs. player competition by 5%.
Trait: Swift Paws *Your agility and brisk need for speed increase the odds of placing first in marathon competitions by 5%.
Trait: Blessing of the Hungry Wolf *
Your time training among the waves has granted you with the very same skill as the seals you hunt, granting you a 5% chance to capture them successfully while competing.
Trait: Flag Bearer *
Your confidence and pride increase the odds that you will successfully obtain and return your home flag during competitions by 5%.
Trait: Brawn *
Your strength and power increases your ability to succeed in any player vs. group held competition by 3%.
Trait: Brains *Your smarts give you the upper paw increasing the odds you will succeed in any player vs. group held competition by 3%.

Your fellow Felvargs look up to you, granting +2EXP to any pictured beside you.
Trait: Luck of the Draw *
Provides a chance for you to duplicate all rewards found while Adventuring.
Trait: Ulfr's Progeny *You follow in the footsteps of the great leader, increasing the chance that all Felvargs in a tracking activity with you will return with more valuable items (+5%).
Trait: Cave Dweller *
Your ability to wind through the darkness with ease increases the chance you will return with more valuable items while excavating by 5%.
Trait: Lucky *
Unlock the ability for your Felvarg to breed with an unknown sire/dam, which can be triggered a single time any given month while participating in any group activities.
Trait: Expeditionary *
Unlock the ability for a Felvarg to accompany you during your expedition, they will also excel.
Trait: Tinker *

Provides a small chance to return with a 1,000 Felcredit payday while participating in usual group activities.
Trait: Competitive *The thrill of competition runs deep through your veins. You gain 3% bonus in any and all competitions.

Trait: Bountiful *Apply this trait directly to your Felvarg to increase the items located in activities to 2-4 instead of the usual 1-3.
Trait: Persistence *All direct offspring inherit your thrill for perfection, guaranteeing they will receive a gold medal when participating in their Passage of Courtship.
Trait: Ylva's Gift *
The blood of the gentle mother flows within you, providing you a chance at a completely random pup in addition to your breeding.
Trait: Loki's Curse *
The spiteful God watches your litters closely, increasing the chance that your offspring will inherit a random mutation.
Trait: Warmonger *
Your ruthlessness and skill in the art of war grants you a 5% chance to succeed while participating in 1v1 competition.
Trait: Night Howler *
Provides a small chance to roll a random trait token alongside your other activity rewards, so long as the activity entry depicts a nighttime setting.
Trait: Day Runner *
Provides a small chance to roll a random trait token alongside your other activity rewards, so long as the activity entry depicts a daytime setting.

All direct offspring of the Trinity are awarded a gold medal for completing their Passage of Courtship trials. Felvargs with the Skill trait also have a chance at passing the Persistence trait to all direct offspring.
